Moving day

Moving Truckcrash

Well today is moving day and we have loads of stuff to do so I’ll keep it brief.  We have opted to drive the truck ourselves in the hope of saving money. Last time we did that we ended up with a $1300 repair bill because Luke hit an overhanging power pole… lets hope nothing like that happens this time.  FINGERS CROSSED!

YOU made IT….OK,…the house is CRAP…BUT..YOU MADE it without a bill for the truck!!! good work. xx

  2. Danielle says:

True and the petrol for the truck was only $105 in total. We now have a hot water system that is leaking around 15L a day and the agent says that it’s normal… I guess we had to take what we could afford. Now back to unpacking this morning and then more packing and car loads of stuff to bring back from the old house.

  3. your Mother.. says:

Oh, 15L is NORMAL is it!!??? They’re great aren’t they…You have to love them!!! Bless them I say…xx

  4. Casey says:

ah you got everything there ok then…good to hear! let us know when you want visitors to assess your new abode and tell you that 15L a day is not normal…but then you have moved to the dark side so perhaps things that are “normal” here are not so there?

  5. Danielle says:

Ha ha.. yes the DARK side… once you cross the bridge the clouds go dark and thunder can be heard. Sirens and gunfire are just background noise that gently send you to sleep!

  6. Casey says:

    I thought you left Stafford?

  7. Danielle says:

The Stafford of the southside … minus the mice!

  8. michmolk says:

15 litres a day!?!? Get onto the http://www.rta.qld.gov.au/ and see what they can do. Glad the move went well :)

  9. casey says:

hmmm the mice won’t be far behind you, they know a bunch of suckers when they see them :-) …..I’m telling you talon works a treat!!

  10. Danielle says:

Victory, the handyman is coming to give us a new hot water system in the morning. YAY to hot water!

No talon in this house, nasty Casey!

  11. casey says:

well now you can scald them with your hot water…so no need for the talon!
