While helping out in my six year old’s classroom last week there was a blocked off construction area right outside. Besides the rancid smell of  welding the children could also hear the men as they talked.  Perhaps these workers simply forgot they were right outside a grade one classroom because their choice of words came as a rather brutal lesson on construction site language for the little ones.  Here’s a snippet of the conversation:

Worker A: Oh mate he got the sack on Monday.

Worker B: Fuck!

Worker A: Yeah that’s why he’s been doing fuck all, all week.

Worker B: Fucking bludger!
