Natalie attended a birthday party over the weekend and she had such a great time she asked me to blog about it.  It was a pizza and cake night with games and late night girly activities.   When I picked her up at 9:30pm I was quite surprised that she was actually still awake and the drive home was non stop talking about how much fun it was and all the great stuff they did.  She had tattoos on her arms, pink spray in her hair and glittery nail polish compete with stars… shame I don’t have any nail polish remover in the house… oh well it will wear off eventually. Besides the longer it stays on the happier she will be.  When we got home Claire was amazed at the party bag her sister was carrying, maybe lugging is a better word? No joke, this “party bag” was bigger than her school library bag and stuffed full of goodies…  lollies, ballons, craft activities, gel pen, highlighter,purse, lip gloss, games, a watch, a jewellery box, a necklace, rings, badges, bracelets, pink fluffy handbag, dress up butterfly head band thingy and on top of it all a fantastic set of butterfly wings! I know I am leaving some stuff out here but believe me when I say it was the motherload of all party bags… the jackpot! Once Natalie had emptied it all out my coffee table was completely covered! I dare say this party will be talked about for a very long time and I guess it leaves a VERY high benchmark for all the other parties this year.  So I’d like to say thanks to Leanne for hosting this wonderfull event but also “darn it”… I’ll never be able to match this party!
