In my thirty one years of existence I have made stress my friend. I can’t imagine my life without it and in fact sometimes I think I find things to stress about. It can motivate a person into action or leave them a dribbling mess on the kitchen floor. I prefer to be motivated by it but that rarely happens for me, instead I run around like a headless chicken repeating “what’s the plan, what are we going to do?” until it drives my family crazy. Being a natural pessimist doesn’t help the situation either, it’s like rubbing salt into the wound. Let me tell you it’s not a good combination! In times of great stress I have discovered that your body will talk to you, for example: did you know that psoriasis can spread to your butt cheeks? How about dandruff storms in your hair or roseca taking the place of blush? These are all physical symptoms that your body is using to say “I’m stressed, take it easy, calm down.” So the next time you look in the mirror and that one pimple you noticed the day before has multiplied like rabbits, perhaps it’s your body reacting to your stress levels. Stress can leave you looking haggard and worn out and all those sleepless nights and nail biting sessions aren’t helping your situation any. A little stress is fine, helpful even, but if I have learned anything about stress it’s this… don’t stress – It’s just not worth it!
This post is part of the what I learned from stress writing project from Middle Zone Musings.

Your boss must be working you too hard – don’t tell me that you don’t have a boss…..I use to pretend that Anthony was boss when I stayed at home!
Danielle, so glad you joined us for this month’s writing challenge! Yep; stress is a party-pooper, all right. It has a way of taking all the fun out of life. But properly managed, it’s the key to productivity. Go figure.
Cheers!
Robert
