For the past four years our family has sat down together to enjoy “Xena night.” This week however we have watched the final episode of season six… the LAST episode! So now I am in a state of mourning. I can almost hear my mother saying “you’re sick” as she reads this BUT she’ll cry in a sad movie so I don’t see the difference. A movie lasts between one and a half hours to three hours but I have spend 134 episodes with these characters so it’s only natural to be moved by the tragedy that unfolded. So with this part of our family history at an end I removed the DVD’s from our shelves to pack away in the TV cabinet. As I was doing this my husband had his laptop on and music playing…the song lyrics were “every time you go away, you take a piece of me with you”. That’s how I felt… packing it away… packing bits of me away. Ok… I can hear you saying this woman sounds nuts, well that may just be the case. When I said to my seven year old “it’s so sad” she replied with “you’ll get over it”. Then when I told my husband that I didn’t think the kids were mourning with me he said “No, the kids aren’t like you… they’re normal.”

I feel your pain!
Its not that I mind her dying (in fact I was happy, because every story has to have a beginning, middle and end) its just the way she died. It was so stupid.
Thats a nice picture of Xena, btw. Gabrielle kind of looks funny there.
You sick, sick puppy, what was I smoking when I concieved you?? Thank the Lord your children are normal.
ps, Do you have any Seinfeld series, D3
What?!?!!? Xena dies! Thank goodness! Now I don’t have to watch 4 years worth of her! Phew! hehehehehe!
