Poison and plugs (not tampons). You would be amazed at the minimal size of an opening that a mouse needs to get into a house. You will want to kill the infestation that is in the house, but you also want to keep any new ones from coming in. Take a walk around the house with a spray foam filler and anywhere there is a crack or opening fill it in with the foam.

finally…the light has been seen!!!! We find that TALON works even better…I guarantee you that finding the little blighters will be much easier after a box of the stuff is put out….they move much slower when their blood is slowly leaking out…..nice thought hey? but seriously we had a rat infestation in our downstairs ceiling and after nights of no sleep (adding to the lack of sleep we were getting anyway thanks to our sleep challenged baby!!) we had to go down the poison avenue as well and that very night they finished off two boxes of the stuff and two days later we had 6 - yes that is 6 huge dead rats spread out over the downstairs storage area…in various states of decomp! but at least we are sleeping better! it’s all about self preservation and unfortunately rats and mice are at the bottom of our list of priorities!
