Oh man! Root Canal - then giving blood - I would be a wreck....and that would be just from giving blood! I am a total mess when it comes to blood tests! Much to Anthony's outright laughter I cry like a big baby! No thank you! I would rather keep my blood to me than get a free lunch! And when I am pregnant and they want me to go for blood tests ....well, I have suddenly become a Mormon or Seventh Day Adventist and it is against my religion! Man, I'm gonna suck as a Mum!

It's alright, they told me that but I didn't want to make the post extra long explaining that my free lunch was in doubt until they informed me that I could donate plasma. So of course I said o.k and they hooked me up to a machine that separated the red blood cells from the plasma and then put the red blood cells back into me. it took 35 minutes but I still got my lunch...VICTORY!

Oh dear...you're meant to wait at least a week after having root canal before giving blood. However, it's great in the city isn't it? Free everything for a small about of blood.
