To be loved
Isn’t it a glorious feeling to know that you’re loved? Sometimes people express their love in rather unique ways but which ever way it’s expressed (so long as it’s not jealous or drunk wife beating love) it’s a good feeling. Well at least that’s what I have always thought. However the other day my seven year old expressed her love to me in quite an unlady like fashion, instead of a good feeling I was left a little repulsed. She passed me in the hallway and said “I love you” which would have been really sweet if it hadn’t been burped to me! I couldn’t believe she could burp a whole sentence using such a loving tone. I don’t know if it’s a talent or gift or something along those lines but where ever she picked this up it most certainly isn’t from me. Must be her fathers genes shining through.
