Alan Dale… Jim from Neighbours

You have to love Alan Dale. At the age of 50 he took a chance and headed to America to boost his acting career. Most people in their 50’s have already hit the height of their careers but not our Alan. Well actually he was born in New Zealand but us Aussies claim him as our own since he grew up here. Good old Alan took a chance and boy hasn’t it paid off, he seems to be everywhere. He was on 24, Jag, The West Wing, CSI: Miami, The O.C, Ugly Betty, Lost, Torchwood and who could forget him as the toothpick man in the X-files. What a guy and can you believe it he is actually in the next Indiana Jones movie! The other night I saw him back in Australian drama on Sea Patrol 2 … good to have you back Alan. I say all this simply to say that Alan Dale will always be known to me as “Jim from Neighbours” How about you? Am I just showing my age here? Did you have a tear in your eye as his character Jim Robinson died of a heart attack on Neighbours? I sure did and I’m proud of that single tear, I think that was the last time I showed emotion now that I think about it…way back in 1992 if I remember correctly. Ah…my Jim from Neighbours.

You have shown emotion between then and now - remember the time you purposefully caused a rift between us? I know that for those years we were estranged you shed buckets of tears!
Is that how Jim from Neighbours died? I always wondered…hmmm! now I know! You forgot to mention that he was in NCIS…ahhhh! NCIS - how could you forget?
P.S. Tony’s hot! hehehehehe!
