Hair removal with a twist

 cordless emjoi

The first time my mother showed me her Emjoi tweezer action hair removal system I thought she had gone completely mad.  It may have had “gently gold” written on it but it looked more like an ancient torture devise to me, and believe me there was nothing gentle about it.  That sucker hurt like hell, surely a man designed that little beauty!   However the fact that my legs remained hair free for such a long time the pain was soon forgotten and I purchased my own Emjoi to torture myself with.  All went well until the day I decided to put it to work on my bikini line.  I was a little hesitant at first but soon got the hang of it and was off “hedge trimming” with gusto.  Then the world around me started to spin and everything got dim.  Those six rows of fast spinning tweezers suddenly felt like the jaws of a great white shark as they bit into my delicate region!  I fumbled for the off switch, missed it in my panicked state, cried out in pain and then finaly turned it off.  Now I’ve heard that there’s a fine line between pleasure and pain but let me tell you an Emjoy twisted up in your “Muff” is painful.  If only that was the end of it, sadly I had to think of removal.  Twist it forwards or backwards to release my flesh?  I didn’t know but I had to try something.  Slowly I moved the barrel with ALL those tweezers on it forwards…OOOOWWWWWW….wrong direction.  Backwards, backwards, backwards, slowly, slowly, slowly…. I was free!  That was a day I will never forget and so I offer this advise… use a razor!

  1. Owwwwww!!! I think I stick with razor or even a wax sounds like it wont hurt as much as that contraption! It does look scary… hehe

  2. I have improved my Emjoi skills since that dreadful day but I swear that company should provide “L” plates with every Emjoi they sell.

  3. Oh my gosh. I laughed so hard and twinged while reading this. Yikes. I’ll stick with my razor thankyouverymuch! :-)
