Pray for a rich husband
My husband wanted to go to k-mart the other day to look at a few odds and ends so the children took the opportunity to do some toy shopping. Luke wanted to know how much money they each had so off they trotted to get their money. They do not get pocket money so any money they have is from Birthday’s and Christmas and earnings from their star chart ( a maximum of $1 a week). My oldest came back with $23 and a big smile on her face. My Youngest opened the coin pouch in her wallet and asked us to count her money. I quick glance showed us that she had a grand total of $2.70……her smile quickly faded. She is the type of person who spends spends spends, as soon as she has any money she wants to buy something. My oldest however sets a goal and saves to reach it. Perhaps her wisdom came with age, she is a big seven. Whichever way we looked at it we knew she would be buying a toy and our youngest most likely wouldn’t be. Luke looked at our youngest and offered a pearl of wisdom for her future, he said lovingly…”pray for a rich husband.”
