Today the kids and I walked home in the pouring rain.  It rained so hard that we could drink the rain as it poured down our faces, needless to say we looked like drowned rats when we arrived home.  Off for a nice warm shower we all went then into my bedroom to get changed.  As I stood in my bedroom drying my hair my youngest was playing on my bed right next to the curtains.  The next thing I knew the curtains along with the curtain rod came tumbling down exposing my nakedness to all my neighbours who cared to look.  If my bedroom window faced the back yard then perhaps I wouldn’t have squealed like a pig and taken off like a rocket.  However, my bedroom window IS visible by many and just so happens to face the street. Unfortunately for me it was also that time of the day when my neighbours directly across from me arrive home.  Thank God we rent and will one day move on from here.  Until then I think I’ll lie low for a while.
