Rubber band ball exercise program

I have discovered a new way to motivate myself to exercise……the rubber band ball exercise program. It’s really quite simple:

Step 1: Go for a walk.
Step 2: Collect 5 rubber bands.
Step 3: Go home and add them to your rubber band ball.

Some days you walk for a while, other days you walk next door and find that the post man has dropped a whole pile of rubber bands and you need not walk any further. I like those days! I named my rubber band ball “Julius” and I’m quite fond of the little guy. My kids know that I want to be buried with him when I die. There is a down side to the rubber band exercise program, red dye! Those red postal rubber bands that I quite often find must be dyed with some seriously strong dye. Sometimes I forget to take them out of my pocket and it goes through the wash…..not good. So if you don’t want red patches all over your clothes remember to add the bands to your ball straight away.
