My Dish Bitch

Don’t you hate doing the dished?  Actually I don’t mind doing them but I’m fortunate enough to have a “Dish Bitch.”  Yep…my husband.  Don’t get me wrong it’s an affectionate term, my sister came up with it and it has stuck like glue.  My husband washes the dishes before going to work and he also washes the dinner time dishes after a hard days work.  Now we are a family of four but my sister and nephew are around for dinner twice a week so he gets quite a pile of dishes to do.  Did I mention that when he is at home during the day he also does the lunch time dishes.  Now don’t you wish you had a “Dish Bitch”?  They are hard to come by but I snapped mine up at the tender age of 18 and the poor boy had grown up with a dishwasher in the house!  Once I had him washing dishes with my “rinse, wash, rinse” method I could relax and be confident that the dishes were being done properly.  What’s that….. control issues I hear you say…..yes well if it’s not done my way it’s not done properly.  That’s my point of view and I’m sticking to it!  Back to the topic at hand, once you find a good “Dish Bitch” never let him go.  Bake cakes and cookies, have dinner ready for him and for the rest of your life you’ll never have to do the dishes again.  My sister said once “I had to fire the first two (Dish Bitch/Husbands) ”   Here’s to third time lucky and finding the “Dish Bitch” of her dreams - cheers!
