When I first heard about blogging I had no idea what it was. I had heard of “bogging”…”taking a bog” etc but who on earth are going to talk about their toileting habits on the net. Then my husband started blogging and I was shown the light! People actually sit on their computers (most while they are meant to be working) and read what other people have to say, think or feel. This suits me as I could spend the day talking to the wall if it would listen. Actually it suits my husband because most of the time he talks to me he might as well be talking to the wall. I can’t help it, after a minute or so his voice disappears into a fog of sound and I’m sure that my face looks as blank as a wall. It’s not that I’m not interested about his academic work life it’s just that it’s so boring and has no relevance to a stay at home mum. So he now has his blogging time and I have decided to have mine. We can bore the world with our bloggs or amuse people with our dysfunctional lifestyle or perhaps a bit of both. Either way, he no longer has to look at me pretending to listen and I can now type away and feel a little more connected to the outside world. So if this is a blog or simply BLAH BLAH BLAH , only time will tell.

It’s a real pleasure to read something from a real perspective.
